Sardinian Carnival starts every year on the 17th January in occasion of the S.Antonio's day and ends on the Ash Wednesday...

The celebrations are focused on the traditional "giovedì" e "martedì grasso" (last thursday and tuesday before Lent) and they are characterized by free tasting of tipycal sardinian food such as broad bean with lard, "zippulas" (a sort of sardinian doghnuts) and delicious wine.
