Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is partner of Surfinsardinia project, with the network of hotspots created by Regione Sardegna, the regional government of Sardinia, you can surf the Internet and access information and services contained in the Regione Sardegna portals and websites of the hotspot hosts.
Surfinsardinia provides wireless access to the Internet and to public e-services through a widespread regional network of hotspots. The service provides free access to the online services and web portals made available by regional and local administrations; registration is required to access the Internet.
Internet access service To use the service you just need a WiFi wireless device (notebook, netbook or any mobile device with WiFi access) and register to it.Registered users have a daily plafond of 300 MB or 1 hour of non-continuous connection.
How to register If you have an Italian mobile phone number, you can sign up online either in the hotspot area or at home by following the Sign Up procedure on www.surfinsardinia.eu. Choose username and password, enter your personal details and submit the form. With your mobile phone call the toll-free number that will be displayed, wait for sign up confirmation and start surfing the web! If you don’t have an Italian mobile phone number, you can sign up in any registration office located in the region, by showing a valid ID.
