The General Aviation of Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport resumes operations

Olbia, May 21st 2020 - According to the regional decree, following the signing of the guidelines for entry into Sardinia through private aviation, general aviation flights at the three Sardinian airports have been reactivated.

The first plane to take off from the new runway at Olbia airport was a Learjet 45, which arrived without guests on board and left at 11:46 am to Milan Linate with two passengers and two crew members.

The new rules for entry into Sardinia through general aviation flights provide, until June 2nd, for a set of obligations including having a specific authorisation issued by the Region, filling in a form through the regional app and, for those who do not have a medical certificate of negativity to Covid 19, the willingness to undergo an antibody test at the airport.
